Brandon Taylor, whose debut novel was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, has yet another bit of new material to share with us.

Previously, his short story “Prophets” appeared in Joyland; now, “Mass” is available in The Sewanee Review, with a free excerpt also published at Literary Hub.

Taylor's short story collection, Filthy Animals, comes out June 22.
