We have good news and bad news.

The good news is that Magnum is releasing a series of Divine Comedy-themed ice cream bars to mark the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death.

The bad news (for most of us) is that the ice cream flavors will only be distributed in Italy.

Perhaps, then, it’s cruel to share the flavors with you, but know that we too are suffering.

The first flavor, Magnum Inferno, is already out and features raspberry and salted dark chocolate.

Next comes Magnum Purgatorio (caramel and vanilla with biscotti) in May, and  and Magnum Paradiso (pink chocolate and pistachio) concludes the series in July.

For further torture, head to Literary Hub and watch the commercial for Magnum Inferno

No worries on not being able to taste them. I've tried the first 2 and they are...meh. I like the Nuii bars by Froneri Int'l way better.
