Here’s a fun question to ask your local library, next time you’re actually inside: Have they been Yanged?

That’s industry slang for having fielded a request from a young man named Aaron Yang to join the summer reading program and have prizes mailed to him – even though he doesn’t live in that library’s district.

NPR spoke to librarians who’ve been Yanged as well as Yang himself about his goal to participate in as many reading programs as possible; you can read the story or listen to the segment below.

His name is Aaron Yang. Not to be confused with the political candidate, Mr. Andrew Yang.
