Hugh Howey’s Wool has found a new television home.
Deadline reports that Rebecca Ferguson, star of Dune and Mission: Impossible, will lead and executive produce an adaptation of the 2011 novel for AppleTV+.
Previously, 20th Century Fox and AMC each had the rights at one time, so Howey shared the news that all ten episodes have been written and that filming starts this summer on Twitter, with a tongue-in-cheek nod to that winding road.
Some context here, because I've kept so much of this secret. We've been working on this for over two years. All 10 episodes are written. The cast is set. Filming starts this summer.

But it still might not happen. 😏https://t.co/AzLDmVhk6J
Wool takes place in a dystopian future in which survivors live hundreds of stories underground.
