A successful mystery novel contains these five features

Melodie Campbell, as an author of mob-heist novels and a past executive director of Crime Writers of Canada, is quite familiar with the ins and outs of mystery writing.

Based on some of the entries she saw in a recent crime-writing contest that she judged, however, not everyone is as well-versed as she is.

So Campbell shared five key elements that mystery novels must have in a guest post for Anne R. Allen’s blog.
