In the season of road trips, podcasts are no doubt front of mind for many people.

And for indie authors, they don’t have to be simply a leisure tool — they can be an effective marketing platform or even a revenue stream.

If that interests you, the Alliance of Independent Authors has posted a guide to podcasting for indie authors.

It’s, of course, just an introduction (with deeper dives available elsewhere), but it sets the stage by covering how to deal with doubt and anxiety, how to design a podcast, and how to choose a theme.

And it closes with real-world quick-hit advice from various ALLi members who’ve made effective use of podcasting.
