Another entry on your post-COVID travel bucket list: either location of the Lamp Light Books Hotel in Japan.

TimeOut Tokyo reports that there’s now one in both Nagoya (since 2018) and Sapporo (just this month).

The first floor of the Sapporo location is an always-open book cafe (though food and drink aren’t served the entire time) with 4,000 mystery and travel books, plus novels from local authors.

Rooms aren’t the definition of luxury, but the price can’t be beat: as low as ¥9,000 (about $82).

TimeOut Tokyo says a third location, in Fukuoka, could open this year.
