Kris Spisak has noticed that writers have an abundance of brainstorming exercises, pre-writing tactics, and drafting strategies at their fingertips.

But advice for how to edit their drafts? Not as much, even though it’s generally considered necessary.

Spisak wants to rectify that, with her advice on how to create a plan for your self-editing process.

With clearly set intentions, she says, the process should feel less overwhelming and much more purposeful.
