For many introverts, the pandemic-era shift to virtual socialization was easy and perhaps even a bit comforting.

Now, though, the world is reopening, and if you’re a bit nervous about transitioning back to in-person activities, you’re certainly not alone.

Nate Hoffelder, the blogger behind The Digital Reader, counts himself among the writers who feel much more comfortable behind a screen.

But he recognizes that being proactive about interacting with other authors and potential readers is necessary for a successful writing career.

So with that in mind, he’s written a guest post for Anne R. Allen’s blog about how introverted writers can prepare themselves for in-person events.
