You might not feel fully confident in your understanding of them, but you’ve certainly heard of nonfungible tokens (NFTs).

And while they’re not mainstream — and may never be — they’re starting to appear more frequently in areas you might encounter.

So naturally, it’s time for publishing experts like Jane Friedman and the Alliance of Independent Authors to cover NFTs on their blogs.

Friedman acknowledges, right away, that she doesn’t have a sense for whether they’re fads, scams, or worth caring about yet — but she wants authors to at least understand them.
