Congratulations are in order for Joelle Taylor, whose C+nto & Othered Poems won the 2021 T.S. Eliot Prize.

Britain’s most prestigious award for poetry comes with a prize purse of £25,000 (about $34,000).

Judges described C+nto & Othered Poems as "a blazing book of rage and light, a grand opera of liberation from the shadows of indifference and oppression."

Taylor has published three other collections of poetry and spent considerable time in the community as a poetry educator.
