One more of Charlotte Brontë's miniature books has surfaced from a private collection and is headed to auction.

The New York Times reports that more than two dozen tiny books created by the Jane Eyre author were known to be in private hands.

All but this one, the fifteen-page A Book of Rhymes, had made it into institutional collections.

Scholars knew of this book's existence, because a long-ago biographer transcribed Brontë's self-written catalogue (including the titles of the poems in A Book of Rhymes).

But the actual poems haven't been shared widely, and the auctioneer has even declined to allow any sneak peeks before April 21, when it will be unveiled.

The asking price? $1.25 million.
