When most of us picture a bookstore, the books are the main attraction.

But as we've seen the past few years, some stores are designed to be an equal (if not greater) attraction.

The latest such example: the Tengda Zhongshuge Bookstore in Taizhou City, China.

The building's design was inspired by the local geography (Tiantai Mountain and the Haishan Islands), which you're welcome to admire for yourself in Global Design News's photo collection.

The text accompanying it is, um, a bit confusing — Literary Hub describes it as "a long string of AI-translated text-fragments, amounting to something like found poetry."
