Ready to take a trip back in time?

Head over to the University of Florida's Baldwin Library of Historical Children's Literature, which has over 7,000 books for young readers from centuries past available for you to read online.

Open Culture shared the tip along with much more context about the emergence of children's literature and what it tells us about the way various societies, from the Victorians onward, viewed childhood.
