It's not as scary as a blank page, but it still might strike fear into an author's heart: the graveyard of stories.

That's how Kristan Hoffman thinks of the various ideas that stopped somewhere along the development process from thought into published story.

And, yes, if you consider these dead ends to have been a waste of time, you'll find the graveyard to be a place of terror.
