The HarperCollins union had planned to go on strike yesterday, but Publishers Weekly reports that this has been delayed until Thursday.

The publishing company has agreed to some of the union's proposals, but the two sides don't yet agree on a new deal.

Unionized employees haven't had a contract since April 2022; there was a one-day walkout in July and an announcement in October that an "open-ended" strike was coming in November.
