NPR and the NY Times are grateful they read these books in 2022

Thanksgiving is a day for expressing gratitude and sharing with others.

So in that spirit, we're highlighting two different best-of-2022 book lists, on the assumption that NPR and New York Times Book Review staffers are grateful they got to read these works.

The NYT's 100 notable books of 2022 can be viewed alphabetically or by genre; NPR's list of books that staffers loved can be filtered down by multiple categories or characteristics.
