  • Ann M. Martin’s bestselling book series The Baby-sitters Club is becoming a musical; the show, which will premiere theatrically in spring 2027, will take place when the main characters are in their mid-twenties and reuniting as they promised each other they'd do (Deadline).

  • Speaking of a group of women in their twenties, you can read an excerpt of Angela Flournoy's just-released novel, The Wilderness (Literary Hub).

  • Make sure your computer or your YouTube account has the sound volume relatively low — then watch the trailer for the adaptation of Freida McFadden’s The Housemaid, starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried; the movie opens December 19 (YouTube).
