Today is Global Running Day, and we’re celebrating it in a more sedentary way (blame a 20-kilometer race last weekend): with recommended reading!

Runner’s World magazine — itself a great place for runners who read — had a mix of fiction and nonfiction on its holiday gift guide last season.

Very Well Fit has a list of motivational reads, many (but not all) of them classics.

Naturally, there’s an Amazon bestseller page for books on running and jogging as well.
