The podcast Decoder Ring took on a hot topic this past week: Who gets to determine whether Sherlock Holmes and Watson are a couple?
The suspicions of a romance between them aren’t new, but the Internet (of course) and the hugely popular TV show Sherlock have taken the “Johnlock” theory to a whole new level.
Sherlock’s showrunners have repeatedly, emphatically denied that they’re writing in any such love story.
Just as persistently, though, the Johnlock contingent has continued to believe.
