Author A.M. Homes talks about writing dialogue, relationships, and short stories, among other topics, with All Things Considered’s Audie Cornish.

Homes has just released a short-story collection titled Days of Awe. She is also the author of novels including the prize-winning This Book Will Save Your Life, memoirs, other short-story collections, and pieces appearing in such publications as The New Yorker, Harpers, and The New York Times..

Additionally Homes has worked on TV pilots for HBO, FX, and CBS; served as a writer/producer for the show The L Word; and is developing a new TV project with BBC America.
