NPR has reshared a 2012 interview with poet laureate Donald Hall, who died June 23.

Hall’s work also included drama, biographies, and memoirs, but he was best known for his poetry.

Listen to him chat with Fresh Air’s Terry Gross and to Scott Simon reading from his poem “September Ode.”
