Every reader (including Fussy) has struggled through trying to recall the name of a beloved book read years ago.
We’re thrilled to report that a blog exists solely to try to solve that problem!
Stump the Bookseller is offered by Loganberry Books, a independent new, used and rare bookshop in Ohio.
Check out the blog and send in your burning questions here.
Book about a young girl who was given a slave for her 10th (or so) birthday. The slave was to do her bidding 24/7 and sleep outside her door on the floor at night in case she needed something.
In the end the girl helps the slave (now an adult) and another woman escape via boat. The 2 woman are crudely disguised and one must talk. Intense but they are successful.
I read the book within the kastv10 years so I’d say it was written 12 to 7 years ago. Anyone know the title.
