As expected, the original Winnie the Pooh map sold for sky-high prices at an auction today at Sotheby’s.

In fact, it vastly exceeded predictions, going for £430,000 (nearly $570,800) compared with the original predictions of £100,000 to £150,000, reports The Guardian.

That’s a world record for a book illustration sold at auction.

The 1926 sketch drawn by EH Shepard had been unseen for nearly half a century.
