Real-life Russian spy drama is coming to your e-reader or bookshelf very soon.

Pan MacMillan will release The Skripal Files on October 4, just seven months after Sergei Skripal and his daughter collapsed from nerve-agent poisoning.

The book puts the Skripal attack in context of the wider spy war between the West and Russia, who has been blamed for the incident.

It makes use of exclusive interviews that author Mark Urban did with Skripal, a Russian double agent, before the novichok attack.
