'Crazy Rich Asians' author is creating a TV series

It’s a good time to be author Kevin Kwan.

Variety reports that the bestselling writer is developing a drama series for Amazon, with the news coming just days before his novel Crazy Rich Asians reaches the big screen.

The untitled series is described as “a globe-hopping drama set amongst Hong Kong’s most influential and powerful family and the business empire they control.”
