Kate Atkinson fans (and we know there are many of you), today is your lucky day!

The author of the bestselling Life After Life went on The Guardian’s book podcast recently to discuss her new work, Transcription.

Transcription takes us back to the early days of World War II, when the young Juliet Armstrong is recruited into working for British intelligence forces.

She assumes her work will stay in the past, but ten years later, the events return to haunt her.

Listen to Atkinson here.
