Veronica Roth, who made her mark on the YA literature scene with the Divergent series, has signed a deal to publish two new books with HarperCollins.

The publisher announced Thursday that a collection of short stories, titled The End and Other Beginnings: Stories from the Future, will come out first.

One of the stories within it is already optioned for film by Fox 2000, according to an article from Publishers Weekly that announced the news.

The End and Other Beginnings is set for publication in fall 2019, with the other book in the deal – an untitled YA novel – expected in 2021.

In between those will come an adult sci-fi novel.

All three books in the Divergent series have made it to the big screen. Sales of that trilogy and the subsequent Carve the Mark duology are currently at 42 million worldwide.
