There will soon be some equality in T.S. Eliot’s animal world.

Eliot’s poetry about cats has charmed generations of ailurophiles, and now his publisher is releasing a sequel to his Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats that stars dogs, reports The Guardian.

Eliot had considered writing his own sequel, going so far as to title it, but Old Toffer’s Book of Consequential Dogs will include only poetry from a modern writer, Christopher Reid.

Meet Reid and learn more about the project in The Guardian.
