Stan Lee, the beloved writer, editor, and publisher of Marvel Comics, passed away this morning, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

A source told the magazine that Lee died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was ninety-five years old.

Lee created or helped create such memorable characters as Black Panther, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Mighty Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, and Ant-Man, among others.
