Good news for young, tech-savvy readers: The Verge reports that Amazon is adding a thousand audiobooks to its subscription service for kids.

The service, FreeTime Unlimited, includes access to age-appropriate, Amazon-approved content, including apps, games, and videos.

Engadget, which also wrote about the update, says Amazon will offer classics (Peter Pan, Rip Van Winkle, Beauty and the Beast, and Snow Queen) and seasonal selections (Corinna the Christmas Elf, The Night Before Christmas, and The Gingerbread Man and Other Children's Favorites). Parents can, of course, add titles as well.
