Novel pays homage to author's marriage counselor

Ah, the holidays — a time of high stress, low patience, and maybe too much togetherness.

Enter John Jay Osborn’s latest novel, Listen to the Marriage, which draws on his experience visiting a marital counselor with his wife.

Osborn told Ari Shapiro that it absolutely changed things for the better and that he hopes readers walk away with the sense that it could help them, whether it’s with a marriage or another important relationship.
