André Aciman hadn’t ruled out a sequel to his book Call Me by Your Name on any sort of philosophical grounds — only practical ones.

As he told Vulture last year, the only issue he had with the idea was that he lacked a plot for it.

Well, fans of the novel, the movie it inspired, or both can now celebrate — Aciman’s muse must have reappeared, since he announced on Twitter that he’s working on a sequel.

Call Me By Your Name recounts a summer romance between a teenager, Elio, and a graduate student, Oliver.

Its movie adaptation starred Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer and took home several awards from this year’s Oscars.
