Author Curtis Sittenfeld’s next release will be an audio original, reports the New York Times.
Sittenfeld — author of Prep, American Wife, Eligible, and many other novels — didn’t write the short story “Atomic Marriage” specifically for audio, but revised the work she’d already done to adapt it for actress Diane Lane’s reading.
An editor at Audible Originals had previously approached her about writing a story about Melania Trump, and while she declined at the time, the idea of working with Audible popped back up after she’d finished “Atomic Marriage.”
You can read more about the story, which will be released January 4, in the New York Times.
