A dystopian novel that’s been out of print for almost a century has found new life.

Rose Macaulay’s What Not will be republished in March 2019, with previously censored passages restored, according to the Guardian.

It also includes a foreword that argues that the work influenced both Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World and George Orwell’s 1984, though no written evidence exists to confirm the claims.

Read more about What Not, the stir it made upon publication, and the fortuitous discovery of a complete copy of it in the Guardian.
