Following up a smash hit is never easy, but one writer feels confident that Markus Zusak has done so with flying colors.

Zusak, author of The Book Thief, spent ten years struggling to write his latest release, Bridge of Clay.

And in her introduction to an interview with him, Amazon Book Review’s Seira Wilson admits that it can be a struggle to get into Bridge of Clay.

But she promises it’s worth it, just as Zusak is glad he fought to finish creating it.
