Journalist assigned to spend a week reading books

Talk about living the dream: Journalist Lois Beckett was assigned to spend a full week without social media and with a stack of books.

Beckett’s goal was to knock out thirty books; she ended up finishing twelve, to which we certainly still tip our caps.
