It’s not news that retail shelves are overflowing with Harry Potter merchandise.

But the Guardian did wonder why, twelve years after the last book came out, you still can’t shop without bumping into something wizardly.

Store buyers explain the phenomenon here, and spoiler alert, the trend is unlikely to end anytime soon.
