Today’s parents who grew up in the early 1990s have something new to be excited about: a picture book based on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Instead of Will Smith, though, the new series will star Destiny and be called Fresh Princess.
“I couldn’t be more excited that the character I played for so long could inspire such a fun and empowering book for kids everywhere,” Smith told Entertainment Weekly, which broke the story.
“I know all of my children would have loved Fresh Princess growing up, and being a father who raised a strong daughter I know how important it is to see that type of strength depicted in stories.”
