This week, we’ve found ourselves being interviewed by high-schoolers and being invited to judge academic decathlons, while still continuing to volunteer with grade-schoolers at Girls on the Run.

So to keep with the education theme, we’re sharing an interview with a former teacher who has written a book on the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal.

Shani Robinson, who has maintained her innocence in the scandal, was found guilty but is free on appeal right now.

She explains why she wrote None of the Above: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Public Schools Cheating Scandal, Corporate Greed, and the Criminalization of Educators and offers her own insight into why the cheating happened — and how it blew up — to All Things Considered’s Michel Martin.

You can listen to their interview below or read a transcript on NPR’s website.
