Salman Rushdie has shared a cover, description, and publication date for his next novel.

Quichotte, inspired by the classic tale Don Quixote, will come out on August 29 in the UK and September 3 in the United States, according to Rushdie’s Instagram post.

The Bookseller describes the novel as the story of an aging traveling salesman who drives across America to prove he’s worthy of a TV star whom he loves.

Rushdie has written thirteen novels, including the Booker Prize winner Midnight’s Children and The Satanic Verses, which infamously moved Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini to declare a fatwa against the author.
