The University of Connecticut is thrilled to welcome the ten thousand items that comprise the Maurice Sendak Collection.

And the good news for those of us without a trip to Hartford on the agenda is that UConn professors Katharine Capshaw and Cora Lynn Deibler have written a preview article that traces Sendak’s creative journey, just like his collection does.
