Brooklyn man faces eviction over his book collection

It’s a bookworm’s worst nightmare: A Brooklyn man is being threatened with eviction for having too many books.

Though his landlord asserts that his collection of books, papers, posters, and other items is a fire hazard, Ben Hammer insists he’s not a hoarder — he just really loves books.

Hammer also told the New York Daily News that he suspects the landlord wants him out because of the rent freeze he had obtained.
