Good news and bad news: The new Kindle allows users to sort their libraries by read/unread, but it’s not quite as seamless as hoped.

Nate Hoffelder has seen it in action and heard from others, and the drawback is that you can’t mark the ebook as read from within it — you have to be in the library.
