Rose Wilder Lane was a colorful character, so it seems only fitting that a new biography of her comes from a cartoonist.

Peter Bagge, who wrote and illustrated Credo: The Rose Wilder Lane Story, gives a preview of his book and explains why he’s drawn (ha!) to telling the stories of women like Lane, Margaret Sanger, and Zora Neale Hurston in an interview with NPR.
