Need something to do tomorrow besides watch the Kentucky Derby ... or something to do while avoiding it?

Saturday is apparently Free Comic Book Day, and NPR has all you need to know about the celebration.

You can find the closest participating comic-book store to you on the event's website, and you can browse the fifty-three titles available on NPR’s website.

(A quick caveat: Not all stores will carry all titles, and of course not all stores are participating.)

As always, we join NPR in encouraging readers to embrace the philosophy behind free reads — that if you’ve enjoyed the author’s work, consider purchasing more of it.
