"Jeopardy!" champ explains how kids' books have powered his wins

James Holzhauer is smashing Jeopardy! records with a variety of innovative strategies.

He’s applying gambling techniques from his day job — sports bettor — and he also hit the books ... the children’s books, that is.

Holzhauer explained to the New York Times that the children’s section is where you’ll find books “tailored to make things interesting for uninterested readers.”

He expounds on that strategy in a new interview with Publishers Weekly.
