Amazon unveils new Fire tablet

Walmart had a sale on Kobo ereaders for Mother’s Day; now, it seems that Amazon is launching a new Fire tablet in time for Father’s Day.

The new seven-inch model has twice the storage of the previous model (all the better for book hoarding!), a faster CPU, and new color options.

The tablet is going for $49 now; it’s available for presale and officially launches June 6.
