Crime writer Karin Slaughter has truly made it big in the publishing world, with bestseller status well-established and film and TV adaptations under way.
And she’s using that success for the greater good, too; her nonprofit, Save the Libraries, has raised over $300,000 since 2010.
Slaughter talks about her work in both arenas in a new interview with Writer’s Digest, which shared an excerpt online — the full Q&A will appear in the September issue of the magazine, in advance of the August release of her next book, The Last Widow.
