Outside experts have closed the book on their review of How They Rule the World: The 22 Secret Strategies of Global Power.

The verdict? While they didn’t believe Pedro Banos expressed anti-Semitism in his book, they did find some passages from the original Spanish version to bear similarities to Jewish conspiracy theories, reports the Bookseller.

Those passages weren’t in the English version, but nevertheless, Penguin Random House has chosen to end publication of it and return all rights to the Spanish publisher.

To catch you up on the story, Penguin first defended Banos against the accusations of anti-Semitism, then decided to solicit an outside review of How They Rule The World.
